My name is Max Romano. I'm a board member, webmaster, and photographer for St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church in Elkins Park, PA.

A few years ago, my wife and I were building the flyer for our parish's annual festival, and it got me thinking about all the other Orthodox festivals we like to visit — and how hard it can be to find out what's happening at communities outside your own. Festivals do so much to financially support our parishes, and I was sure other communities faced the same challenge we did: no easy way for people to find out what's going on.

So I built this — a free directory of Orthodox parishes, with a section specifically for festivals, bazaars, and fundraisers, the kind of events that bring new visitors in and support the church. It's not affiliated with any jurisdiction; it's just something I maintain myself, in whatever time I can give it.
